If you’ve tried to buy a vaporizer in the past couple years you know that it’s a tough task. There are hundreds of different vaporizers to pick from with new brands popping up every day.
Do you go with Arizer, Volcano, Pax, Firefly, Flowermate… this list goes on.
It can be overwhelming to say the least!
You’re in luck though. Our friends over at Vaporizers Direct have put together this flowchart which makes picking the perfect vaporizer easy. Just start at the top by choosing between desktop and portable, then work your way down. By the end you’ll have the best vaporizer for your situation.
There are just a few things you need to know before starting:
- You have to pick between a portable and desktop vaporizer. Portable vaporizers can be carried around while desktop vaporizers generally stay at home.
- If you choose a desktop vaporizer you can use bags (which fill up with vapor) or a whip (which is direct draw). Bags are great if you want longer sessions.
- If you choose a portable vaporizer you have the choice between battery powered and butane (torch) powered. Most people choose battery since it’s easier but butane means you don’t have to worry about charging a battery.
- All of these vaporizers work with herb but you have the option to also do concentrates with some of them. If you want to do concentrates (oil) go down the concentrates path.
Other than that, figure out how much you’re willing to spend. Vaporizers start at around $100 (Flowermate V5S) and go up to around $700 (Herbalizer). If it’s your first time buying maybe go with a lower cost vaporizer to start and see if you like it.
